Sting is starring in The Last Ship at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
The superstar musician and actor gained international recognition as the frontman and principal songwriter of The Police, after which he launched a successful solo career. He will make his West End debut in The Last Ship later this year at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Sting on screen and stage
While Sting is largely known for his music, over the years he has made the leap into film and television, appearing in more than 15 films.
He has starred in such films as Quadropehnia (1979), Dune (1984) amd Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels (1998), and served as a producer for A Guide to Recognizing Your Saints.
Most recently, Sting starred in the first season of Only Murders in the Building, playing am exaggerated version of himself.
The musician will make his West End debut in The Last Ship at Theatre Royal Drury Lane this autumn, starring as Jackie White. He wrote the musical, inspired by his childhood growing up in a ship building town.
