Skylar Astin is a stage and screen actor known for originating the role of Georg in Spring Awakening and playing Jesse Swanson in the Pitch Perfect films. He is due to make his West End debut as the Emcee in Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club.

Skylar Astin makes his West End debut as the the Emcee in the immersive West End production of Cabaret, taking over the role from Jamie Muscato. Astin joins the long-running, multi-award-winning production for a limited run from 21 September 2026 until 12 December 2026.

About Skylar Astin

American actor and singer Skylar Astin began his career training at the famed Stagedoor Manor performing arts camp before enrolling at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. He took a leave of absence from his studies to star in the original Broadway cast of Spring Awakening alongside Lea Michele and Jonathan Groff, a breakout role that launched his career. Astin has built a career on both the stage and screen, going on to star as Jesse Swanson in Pitch Perfect, Seymour in the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors and more.
