See behind the scenes Jesus Christ Superstar rehearsal photos starring Sam Ryder in an Olivier-Award winning production of Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic musical.
Following its sell-out stint in Regent’s Park’s open-air theatre last year, the Olivier Award-winning Jesus Christ Superstar, directed by Tim Sheader (Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), is set to hit the stage at both the London Palladium and the Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s iconic musical stars Sam Ryder (Eurovision) making his West End debut as Jesus, alongside Tyrone Huntley (Hello, Dolly) as Judas Iscariot, Desmonda Cathabel (Hadestown), David Thaxton as Pontius Pilate and guest cast of Herods that include Richard Armitage, Boy George and Layton Williams.
Opening on the 20th June at the London Palladium and transferring to the Theatre Royal on 16th October, it’s set to be one of the biggest hits in the West End’s theatrical calendar.
