Tickets have officially been released for the most anticipated comedy revival of the 2026 London season: Noël Coward’s Hay Fever at Wyndham’s Theatre in London.
Headlined by Emmy and Tony Award-winner Christine Baranski and Oscar nominee Richard E. Grant, the production is set to be the “must-see” ticket of the autumn. Demand is expected to be exceptionally high for the strictly limited 12-week engagement, which begins performances on 22 September 2026.

A West End debut
In a major casting coup for London theatre, Christine Baranski (The Gilded Age, The Good Wife, Mamma Mia!) will finally make her long-awaited West End debut.
Baranski stars as the eccentric retired actress Judith Bliss. To accommodate the run, the actress will fly to London to begin rehearsals in mid-August, immediately following the end of production of the latest season of HBO’s The Gilded Age.
Richard E. Grant returns to the stage
Starring opposite Baranski is Richard E. Grant (Saltburn, Withnail & I) as her husband, the novelist David Bliss. While a staple of British cinema, this production marks Grant’s first West End stage appearance in over 20 years, making it a significant homecoming for the actor.
The ultimate comedy of manners
Directed by Emily Burns (Jack Absolute Flies Again), Coward’s 1924 masterpiece is a frenetic comedy of bad manners. The story follows the four members of the eccentric Bliss family who, unbeknownst to one another, have each invited a guest to their country home for the weekend, leading to a whirlwind of social disaster.
The production is produced by the powerhouse duo of Wessex Grove and Gavin Kalin Productions.
