Theatrical experiment White Rabbit Red Rabbit is returning to the West End this year with another all-star cast.
White Rabbit Red Rabbit will play on selected dates at the Duchess Theatre, from 8 June to 2 November 2026.
The cast confirmed for the one-person show, with a different star appearing each night, includes David Harewood, David Tennant, Riz Ahmed, Jodie Whittaker, Jo Joyner, Asim Chaudhry, Luke Thompson, Kathryn Hunter, Kunal Nayyar, and Archie Madekwe.

White Rabbit Red Rabbit is created by playwright Nassim Soleimanpour (ECHO, NASSIM) and director Omar Elerian (Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo, Rhinoceros), who are launching new theatre company There & Then with this production being their first show.

Billed as a “theatrical experiment”, a different performer stars in the show each night, and sees the script for the first time on stage. Without any rehearsals or direction, each performance is a unique, one-off event.
Written while Soleimanpour was forbidden to leave Iran, this playful, poignant and unsettling play explores obedience, choice and freedom of expression – and the fragile contract between performer and audience.
White Rabbit Red Rabbit premiered in 2011, and has now been staged over 4,000 times in 25 languages.
