Gibson succeeds Luke Brady (The Prince of Egypt), who originated the role for the show’s West End premiere in June 2024.
“What an honour to step back into the role of Hercules which I had the enormous privilege of originating back home. To come full circle with this epic production, and make my West End debut at the glorious Theatre Royal Drury Lane is an absolute dream come true.” – Bradley Gibson

Directed and choreographed by Tony Award-winner Casey Nicholaw (The Book of Mormon, Aladdin), Hercules features a brand-new book by Tony winner Robert Horn (Tootsie) and former Young Vic Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah.
The score features the much-loved songs from the 1997 animated classic, including “Go the Distance” and “Zero to Hero”, written by eight-time Oscar winner Alan Menken and Tony winner David Zippel, alongside several new songs written specifically for the stage.
Disney confirmed in February that Hercules is scheduled to conclude its run at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane this September. Casey Nicholaw is currently overseeing the world premiere of Disney’s latest stage venture, The Greatest Showman, in Bristol.
