Ruby Ashbourne Serkis and Jordan Metcalfe to join Ralph Fiennes and Miranda Raison

The forthcoming West End transfer of Grace Pervades by David Hare has confirmed full casting for its run at the Theatre Royal Haymarket.

Grace Pervades is playing at the West End’s Theatre Royal Haymarket from 24 April to 11 July 2026.

Already announced in the cast are the production’s original stars, Ralph Fiennes (Conclave; Harry Potter; James Bond; Macbeth, London and New York) as Henry Irving, alongside Miranda Raison (Spooks; Anne Boleyn at the Globe Theatre; The Winter’s Tale at the Garrick Theatre) as Ellen Terry.

The pair led the world premiere cast of the play last year at Theatre Royal Bath.

They will be joined by Ruby Ashbourne Serkis (Indian Ink) as Edith, and Jordan Metcalfe (Accidental Death of an Anarchist ) as Edward, both of whom also starred in the show in Bath.

Ruby Ashbourne Serkis is the daughter of stage and screen stars Lorraine Ashbourne and Andy Serkis.

The cast also features Youness Bouzinab, Giulia Innocenti, Tom Kanji, Harriet Leitch, Guy Paul, Chris Porter, Maggie Service, Saskia Strallen and Kathryn Wilder with Katherine Liley and Sam Perry.

David Hare’s new play is directed by Jeremy Herrin (Long Day’s Journey Into Night), and is a co-production with his company Second Half Productions, and Theatre Royal Bath Productions, and Len Blavatnik and Danny Cohen for Access Entertainment.

The production’s creative team also features set designer Bob Crowley, costume designer Fotini Dimou, lighting designer Peter Mumford, sound designer Elizabeth Purnell, video designer Akhila Krishnan, WHAM (wigs, hair and make-up) designer Susanna Peretz, composer Paul Englishby, casting director Jessica Ronane CDG, and movement director Lucy Cullingford.
