The Wycombe Swan in High Wycombe has announced the stars of its forthcoming Christmas panto, Jack and the Beanstalk.

Joining already-announced Scott Mills, host of BBC Radio 2’s Breakfast Show, in the show will be award-winning drag queen La Voix.

It was also announced today, 13 August, that La Voix (RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, Britain’s Got Talent) will be taking part in the brand-new series of ITV’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The panto will also star A1’s Mark Read and comedian Matt Edwards.

Jack and the Beanstalk is produced by award-winning Imagine Theatre, and is playing at the Wycombe Swan from 12 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.

La Voix is joining a 2025 Strictly line-up that will also include Harry Aikines-Aryeetey aka Nitro, Dani Dyer, Alex Kingston, Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink, Balvinder Sopal, George Clarke, Chris Robshaw and Ellie Goldstein.

Strictly Come Dancing returns to BBC One in September.

La Voix said in a statement today about joining Strictly Come Dancing: “I’ve performed for royalty, RuPaul and Simon Cowell, but nothing fills me with more excitement (and quite a bit of terror) than the thought of dancing in front of millions on live Saturday night TV. Strictly is a national institution and I can’t wait to get started. All that’s left to say is: good luck to my partner! Here’s hoping they can help me go from La Voix into La Danse.”

La Voix’s other TV appearances include ITV’s Queens For The Night, Paramount’s Queen Of The Universe, Absolutely Fabulous: The Movie, and La Voix’s acclaimed live shows.
