Get a first listen to new show Lovestuck: A New Musical Comedy at Stratford East Theatre in London.

The show has released the first four tracks of its cast recording, including “Lovestuck”, “Picture Perfect”, “More or Less” and “Everybody’s Got Their Shit”.

Lovestuck, which charts the hilarious, humiliating and all too relatable quest for our happy ever after, is coming to Stratford East Theatre, from 6 June to 12 July 2025.

The show stars Jessica Boshier as Lucy and Shane O’Riordan as Peter, with Bridgette Amofah as Cassandra/Miseraie, Marcus Ayton as Reece, and Johan Munir as David.

In the ensemble are Ambra Caserotti, Callum Connolly and Holly Liburd.

Lovestuck is inspired by true events, and centres on thirty-somethings Lucy and Peter. The musical opens to find Lucy stuck upside-down in Peter’s bathroom window at the end of their first date! How on earth did they get themselves into this awkward situation? And what happens next?

The musical is conceived and written by James Cooper, with direction by Jamie Morton (co-creators of the hit podcast My Dad Wrote A Porno), and music by triple-platinum singer-songwriter Bryn Christopher with Martin Batchelar.
