The West End cast of Cameron Mackintosh’s hit production of Oliver! are set to perform on Britain’s Got Talent tonight!
The company of Oliver! are performing at the Eventim Apollo in London during the fourth Semi-final of Britain’s Got Talent TONIGHT, Sunday 18 May at 7pm on ITV1 and ITVX. Following its broadcast, you can also watch the show on ITVX here.
Based on Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver!‘s much-loved songs include Food Glorious Food, Consider Yourself, You’ve Got to Pick-a-Pocket or Two, I’d Do Anything, Oom Pah Pah, As Long As He Needs Me and many more.
This new production of Oliver! has been reconceived by Cameron Mackintosh (Les Miserables), along with director and choreographer Matthew Bourne (Mary Poppins). The show premiered at Chichester Festival Theatre last summer, where it scored great reviews from the critics, and officially opened in the West End in January.
The announcement comes on the day that the cast of Come Alive! The Greatest Showman Circus Spectacular are also confirmed as appearing on this Sunday’s show.
Britain’s Got Talent 2025
Following six weeks of auditions, the BGT semi-finals started on Saturday 26 April, and are now airing every Saturday night until 23 May – with the exception of this week, which is airing on Sunday 18 May.
Featuring judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli, and hosted by Ant and Dec, the semi-finals are taking place live at the Eventim Apollo in London.
The first week saw Karis Anderson and the cast of Tina – The Tina Turner Musical perform live on Britain’s Got Talent (watch here); and then Luke Brady and the cast of Disney’s Hercules performed on BGT (watch here). Last week the company of new musical Just For One Day – The Live Aid Musical took to the Britain’s Got Talent stage (watch here).

Oliver! stars Simon Lipkin (Guys and Dolls, Avenue Q) as Fagin and Shanay Holmes (Miss Saigon, The Bodyguard) as Nancy, with Aaron Sidwell (Henry VI, Wicked) as Bill Sikes, Oscar Conlon-Morrey (Only Fools and Horses The Musical) as Mr. Bumble, Billy Jenkins (Les Misérables, BBC’s Dodger) as the Artful Dodger, Philip Franks (The Rocky Horror Show, Witness for the Prosecution) as Mr. Brownlow, Katy Secombe (The Music Man, Les Misérables) as Widow Corney, Stephen Matthews (Strictly Ballroom, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang) as Mr. Sowerberry/Dr. Grimwig, Jamie Birkett (Peter Pan Goes Wrong, Mamma Mia! The Party) as Mrs. Sowerberry/Mrs. Bedwin, and Billy Byers as Alternate Artful Dodger.
The role of Oliver Twist is played by Cian Eagle-Service (The Witches, Les Misérables), Raphael Korniets (The Snowman), Jack Philpott (The Witches, Matilda) and Odo Rowntree-Bailly (Love Never Dies).
Oliver! is now playing at the Gielgud Theatre in London, booking to 29 March 2026.
