Producers of a planned new tour of Jack Thorne’s cult vampire hit Let the Right One In have cancelled the production.

First staged to critical acclaim at Manchester’s Royal Exchange in 2022, the tour was to have started at Northampton’s Royal & Derngate Theatre in October 2025, and then visit London Bromley, Bristol, Salford, Fareham, Cardiff, Southend-on-Sea, Eastbourne, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Liverpool.

Any ticket holders will be contacted and refunded by their point of purchase.

A spokesperson for the show’s producers, Trafalgar Theatre Productions, said in a statement: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the UK tour of ‘Let The Right One In’ is no longer able to proceed as planned.”

Adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Adolescence, Toxic Town, His Dark Materials, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, The Motive and the Cue), the play is based on the acclaimed Swedish novel and film by John Ajvide Lindqvist.
