Musicals concert series West End Does has announced further casting for its new concert at Cadogan Hall in London.
West End Does: Magic of Animation – Heroes & Villains will feature songs and music from Hollywood’s most beloved animated movies including The Prince of Egypt, Hercules, The Lion King, Shrek! The Little Mermaid, Anastasia and more.
This is the third iteration in their Magic of Animation concert series.
Performers already announced include Simon Lipkin (Oliver!), who is also hosting, with Rachel John (Hamilton, Doubt: A Parable), Ben Forster (The Phantom of the Opera), and Sharlene Hector (Disney’s Hercules, Here & Now – The Steps Musical).
Joining them will be West End stars David Hunter (Waitress, The Time Traveller’s Wife, Once, If/Then), Rob Madge (Sleeping Beauty, My Son’s A Queer), Rob Houchen (TitanÃque, South Pacific), and Leesa Tulley (Why Am I So Single?, Six The Musical).
The West End Does Orchestra will perform, led by musical director Samuel Wilson, plus two choirs and dancers from the Guildford School of Acting.
West End Does: Magic of Animation – Heroes & Villains is playing at Cadogan Hall on Sunday 4 May 2025, at 2.30pm and 6.30pm.
Simon Lipkin is currently starring as Fagin in Oliver! at the Gielgud Theatre in London; Rob Houchen is currently appearing in TitanÃque at the West End’s Criterion Theatre; and Sharlene Hector is about to start performances in Disney’s Hercules at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London.
