Award-winning ventriloquist and comedian Nina Conti is set to return to London’s West End this spring with a strictly limited run of her critically acclaimed show Nina Conti: Whose Face Is It Anyway?.

Conti will take to the stage at the Duke of York’s Theatre for five consecutive nights from 29 April to 3 May 2025.

Following a hugely successful UK tour, Conti’s latest West End show offers audiences another chance to experience her unique blend of improvisational comedy, ventriloquism, and audience interaction.

Currently wrapping up a sold-out 26-date tour across the UK, Conti has already announced an autumn extension due to phenomenal demand, with 13 additional dates added between 30 September and 30 October 2025.

With her signature puppet sidekick Monkey in tow, Whose Face Is It Anyway? pushes the boundaries of live performance, blending quick-witted improvisation with audience participation, and using her signature masks to create unpredictable moments.

Nina Conti said in a statement: “This show takes me and shakes me by the shoulders, and when it’s done, I can barely tell you what happened. It’s a maniacal force of nature but an utterly joyous one. I don’t know what to expect any more than the audience members who join me in the masks! The Duke of York’s Theatre is a stunning old venue — it reminds me of The Muppet Show, so performing there feels like a dream come true.”

Conti’s latest show builds on the success of her previous hit, The Dating Show, which earned her rave reviews at the 2022 Edinburgh Fringe before embarking on a global tour, including performances at the Sydney Opera House and a two-week residency at New York’s Soho Playhouse.

Nina Conti has won a British Comedy Award, been nominated for a BAFTA, and performed on Live at the Apollo, QI, and The John Bishop Show. Her background includes a stint with the Royal Shakespeare Company before she was encouraged by visionary director Ken Campbell to pursue ventriloquism—leading to a career that has continuously pushed the boundaries of comedy and performance.
