Here We Are has music and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim (Follies, Sweeney Todd) and a book by Tony Award-nominee David Ives (All in the Timing, Venus in Fur). The show is inspired by two of Luis Buñuel’s iconic films and follows a group of guest who are unable to leave a dinner party.

Cast announced today are: Edward Baker-Duly (Emmerdale, West Side Story), Alastair Brookshaw (Sunday in the Park with George, Into The Woods), Jack Butterworth (Kiss Me, Kate), Molly Lynch (My Fair Lady, Carousel, Sunset Boulevard), Amira Matthews (Roald Dahl’s The Witches, Evita, Merrily We Roll Along) and Steven Serlin (Amour, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory).

The production first played last year at The Shed in New York directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Joe Mantello (Wicked, Assassins) where it received mixed reviews from critics. Tracie Bennett and Denis O’Hare will reprise their roles from the original production in New York.
