The new musical Irish Affair – A Love Story for All Time by West End composer Stuart Brayson (From Here to Eternity) is set to return for a semi-staged concert at the National Opera House in Wexford.
The performance will take place on the main O’Reilly stage on 27 June 2025.
Following its workshop premiere in 2024, the production is back for a special one-night event. The musical tells the true story of Sean Cloney and Sheila Kelly, a Catholic man and a Protestant woman whose love defied religious and political divides in 1950s Ireland, sparking international attention.
Featuring a score blending traditional Irish influences with soaring melodies, the song She Is My Everything from the show was recently featured on Elaine Paige on Sunday on BBC Radio 2.
The semi-staged concert will be introduced by legendary lyricist Sir Tim Rice. Full casting is to be announced.
Irish Affair – A Love Story for All Time is playing at the National Opera House, Wexford, on 27 June 2025.
Tim Rice is currently touring the UK with the concert Tim Rice – My Life in Musicals: I Know Him So Well.
