F. Scott Fitzgerald’s timeless story of wealth, class, and the American Dream unfolds during the roaring twenties, following eccentric millionaire Jay Gatsby as he throws lavish parties in hopes of winning the affection of married socialite Daisy Buchanan. The musical delves into themes of social class and the consequences of obsession.

The Great Gatsby has inspired multiple adaptations, including Baz Luhrmann’s film starring Leonardo DiCaprio, a long-running immersive theatre production in London, and a ballet production by Northern Ballet. Additionally, singer Florence Welch is developing a new adaptation for the American Repertory Theater.

The creative team for The Great Gatsby also includes choreography by Dominique Kelley (So You Think You Can Dance), costume design by Linda Cho, scenic and projection design by Paul Tate de Poo III, lighting design by Cory Pattak, sound design by Brian Ronan, hair and wig design by Charles G LaPointe and Rachael Geier, arrangements by Jason Howland, orchestrations by Howland and Kim Scharnberg, the music producer is Billy Jay Stein for Strike Audio, and UK casting by Jill Green Casting.

Produced on Broadway by Chunsoo Shin, the acclaimed Korean musical producer and five-time winner of Korea’s top theatrical award, The Great Gatsby brings its opulent and jazz infused world to the London Coliseum this year.
