Free UK channel Sky Arts is screening three National Theatre productions in February and March.

Captured on film as part of National Theatre Live, which brings theatre shows to UK cinemas and streaming, Sky will broadcast Othello, The Crucible, and Frankenstein.

On 18 February 2025, Sky Arts will screen the National’s 2022 production of Othello starring Giles Terera, Rosy McEwen and Paul Hilton, directed by Clint Dyer.

On 25 February, Sky Arts screens Arthur Miller’s The Crucible, in the National’s 2022 production starring Erin Doherty and Brendan Cowell, directed by Lyndsey Turner.

Finally, on 4 and 11 March, Danny Boyle’s acclaimed production of Frankenstein, based on Mary Shelley’s novel and written by Nick Dear, will be broadcast. 4 March will see Jonny Lee Miller as the Creature and Benedict Cumberbatch as Frankenstein; and on 11 March, Benedict Cumberbatch stars as the Creature, with Jonny Lee Miller as Frankenstein.

Erin Doherty, who starred in The Crucible, is about to star in Unicorn in the West End, alongside Nicola Walker and Stephen Mangan.
