BBC entertainment show Strictly Come Dancing has held its annual Musicals Week episode – which is the 2024 Quarter Final.
The celebrity contestants and their professional dance partners danced to a selection of West End and Broadway hit shows, including show-of-the-moment Wicked, plus Six The Musical, Mary Poppins, Anything Goes, The Color Purple, and West Side Story.
Sunday’s results show also saw the cast of Hamilton performing on the show.
The professionals opened Saturday night’s show with a number of Little Shop of Horrors; and Sunday’s show saw the professionals dance to a song from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Sunset Boulevard.

At the start of the Quarter Final, the six celebrities and six professionals still in the running for the Strictly trophy were Sarah Hadland and Vito Coppola, Tasha Ghouri and Aljaž Škorjanec, Chris McCausland and Dianne Buswell, JB Gill and Lauren Oakley, Pete Wicks and Jowitza Przystal, and Montell Douglas and Johannes Radebe – with Johannes making his musicals debut next year on tour in Kinky Boots.

During the results show, Gladiator and former Olympic athlete Montell Douglas become the 10th celebrity to leave Strictly Come Dancing. With her professional partner Johannes Radebe they were defeated in the dance-off by former Love Island star Tasha Ghouri and her partner Aljaz Skorjanec.
Musicals Week on Strictly Come Dancing was broadcast on BBC One this Saturday 30 November and Sunday 1 December 2024.

Hamilton is now playing at the Victoria Palace Theatre in London. Hamilton is also touring the UK, playing Cardiff, Bradford, Southampton, Liverpool, Sunderland, Plymouth, and Norwich.
The Strictly Come Dancing Live Tour is also set for next year, playing arenas in Birmingham, Sheffield, Newcastle, Glasgow, Liverpool, Leeds, Manchester, Nottingham, and London.
