Casting has been announced for the Broadway premiere of Operation Mincemeat.
The original cast of the 2024 Olivier Award®-winning Operation Mincemeat, featuring David Cumming, Claire-Marie Hall, Natasha Hodgson, Olivier Award-winner Jak Malone, and Zoë Roberts, will reprise their acclaimed roles for the musical opening on Broadway at the Golden Theatre on 20th March 2025, with preview from 15 February 2025.
Armed with glowing reviews from both sides of the Atlantic—including praise from The Washington Post, The New Yorker, and The New York Times—Operation Mincemeat is poised to take on Broadway. However, with a reported $11.5 million budget required to mount the production, the stakes are high as the team works to replicate its London success in the larger, yet still intimate, Golden Theatre.
Operation Mincemeat is the first musical to open at The Shubert Organization-owned Golden Theatre since Tony Award-winner Avenue Q in 2009.
A huge hit in London’s West End, where it continues its run at the Fortune Theatre, Operation Mincemeat has extended its booking period, now playing through 19 April 2025.
Operation Mincemeat is written and composed by SpitLip, who are David Cumming, Felix Hagan, Natasha Hodgson and Zoë Roberts. They all performed in the initial West End run of the show, and it is widely assumed that they will transfer with the production to Broadway.
The show is directed by Robert Hastie (Standing at the Sky’s Edge) and choreographed by Jenny Arnold (Jerry Springer: The Opera).
The creative team also includes set and costume design by Ben Stones, lighting design by Mark Henderson, sound design by Mike Walker, orchestrator and vocal arranger Steve Sidwell, musical director Joe Bunker, associate director Georgie Staight, associate choreographer Paul Isaiah, and casting by Pearson Casting.

The current London cast of Operation Mincemeat features Emily Barber, Seán Carey, Chlöe Hart, Christian Andrews and Claire-Marie Hall , with George Jennings and Jonty Peach joining Holly Sumpton and Geri Allen.
Operation Mincemeat is playing at the Golden Theatre in New York from 15 February 2025.
Operation Mincemeat continues to play at the Fortune Theatre in London, now booking to 19 April 2025.
