London-based immersive entertainment company Layered Reality (Elvis Evolution) have been selected to be part of Grow London Global, a programme initiated by the Mayor of London to support innovative companies as they scale their businesses and expand their global presence.
Selected for Cohort 5 of Grow London Global, the initiative is led by London & Partners, and provides bespoke business support for some of the most ambitious, high-growth companies across the capital.
Grow London Global is funded by the UK Government’s Shared Prosperity Fund, and is a 12-month programme supporting businesses with a presence in London that are ready to expand internationally. Members of the programme gain access to vital expertise across global HR, finance, technology, and more, while benefiting from bespoke resources, networking opportunities, and trade missions designed to help London’s most innovative companies achieve global success.
Layered Reality’s inclusion in the programme follows a series of strategic milestones, including securing the global rights to celebrate Elvis Presley’s legacy through immersive AI technology and partnering with Technicolor’s advertising and experience studio, The Mill.
Layered Reality uses a mix of live actors, intricate sets and cutting-edge technologies including Virtual/Mixed Reality and Projection Mapping to create a complete experience and multi-sensory storytelling, allowing audiences to feel closer to iconic figures like Elvis Presley.
Layered Reality are gearing up to launch Elvis Evolution, the world’s first Elvis Presley immersive experience, which they have said is “imminent”.
The company also said today that Elvis Evolution will launch at London’s new Immerse LDN site at ExceL. Elvis Evolution is set to open in Spring 2025, with other major cities set to follow.
Andrew McGuinness, Founder and CEO of Layered Reality, said: “We’re thrilled to join Grow London Global at such an exciting moment in Layered Reality’s journey. With the upcoming launch of Elvis Evolution, our partnership with Authentic Brands Group, and our strategic collaboration with Technicolor’s The Mill, we are well-positioned to bring our immersive experiences to global audiences. Being part of this prestigious programme will provide us with the tools and insights to unlock new markets, expand internationally, and continue redefining what is possible in the world of immersive entertainment.”
