The annual Tony Awards, celebrating Broadway theatre, have announced their venue and dates for 2025.
The 78th annual awards will return to Radio City Music Hall for 2025, the first time since 2022.
The Tony Awards will be held on 8 June 2025 next year, and broadcast live from the venue on CBS in the US, and stream on Paramount+.
Radio City Music Hall has hosted 20 of the awards ceremonies since 1997.
The show will be produced by White Cherry Entertainment, along with the awards’ organisers The Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing.
Glenn Weiss will once again direct and executive produce, with White Cherry show-runners Ricky Kirshner and Jack Sussman.
The Tony Awards are yet to announce the cut-off date by which Broadway productions must be open in order to be eligible for the 2024 – 2025 awards.
Winners of the 2024 Tony Awards included Merrily We Roll Along, The Outsiders, Hell’s Kitchen and Stereophonic.
