Sheffield Theatres has announced casting for its revival of Little Shop of Horrors this Christmas 2024.
The show will run at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield from 7 December 2024 to 18 January 2025, directed by Amy Hodge (Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World).
The cast features Colin Ryan (My Brilliant Friend, Shakespeare in Love) as Seymour, Georgina Onuorah (Kiss Me Kate, The Wizard of Oz) as Audrey, Sam Buttery (Jesus Christ Superstar, Taboo) as The Plant (Audrey II), Lizzy Rose Esin Kelly (A Chorus Line, Grease) as Ronette, Paige Fenlon (Who Do Ya Love?, Pretty Woman) as Chiffon, Charlotte Jaconelli (Sunset Boulevard, Fantastically Great Women Who Changed The World) as Crystal, Michael Matus (The Baker’s Wife, 42nd Street) as Mr Mushnik, and Wilf Scolding (Cabaret, The Madness of George III) as Orin.

The Ensemble and understudies include Christopher Akrill, Will Arundell, Jamal Franklin, Purvi Parmar, Kate Playdon, and Jaz Terry, and swings are Arethajay McEwen and Riley Woodford.
Little Shop of Horrors has a book and lyrics by Howard Ashman, music by Alan Menken.

Joining director Amy Hodge in the creative team are: Designer Georgia Lowe, Choreographer Jade Hackett, Lighting Designer Jessica Hung Han Yun, Sound Designer Rob Bettle, Musical Director Chris Poon, New Orchestrations by Matthew Jackson, Puppet Designers & Directors Daisy Beattie and Seb Mayer, Casting Director Jacob Sparrow, Orchestra Manager David Gallagher, Video Designer Matt Powell, Associate Choreographer Nicola Mac, Assistant Director Beth Knight, and Assistant Musical Director Caitlin Morgan.
Little Shop of Horrors is playing at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield from 7 December 2024 to 18 January 2025.
