Festive classic The Snowman is flying back into the West End this Christmas, for another run at the Peacock Theatre in London.
The Snowman will be playing at the West End’s Peacock Theatre from 23 November 2024 to 4 January 2025, and tickets are now on sale.
This is the record-breaking 27th year of the magical dance show, which adapts Raymond Briggs’ much-loved picture book for the stage.
The book was also adapted into an award-winning film, directed by Dianne Jackson.
The Snowman tells the story of a young boy who builds a snowman on a snowy winter’s day, which magically comes to life. The boy embarks on an enchanting adventure with his new friend, exploring the boy’s home, and flying through the night sky to visit the North Pole.
This stage production of The Snowman originated at the Birmingham Rep, and features music and lyrics by Howard Blake, including ‘Walking in the Air’, played by a live orchestra in the show.
The Snowman is directed by Bill Alexander, with design by Ruari Murchison, choreography by Robert North and lighting design by Tim Mitchell.
The Snowman is running at the Peacock Theatre from 23 November 2024 to 4 January 2025.
