West End star Bradley Jaden has promoted forthcoming Cameron Mackintosh show Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular on Dutch television.
The TV show was part of The Musical Awards: The Kick-Off, featuring live performances from some of the Netherlands’ latest musical productions, and took place on Sunday 25 August 2024 in Hilversum, Netherlands.
Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular is set to play Amsterdam on 13 to 16 February 2025, with Bradley Jaden as Javert and the current London star of Les Miserables Milan van Waardenburg as Jean Valjean.

Last week, full casting was announced for Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular, with Emily Bautista (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon) to play Éponine in Belfast, Glasgow, Sheffield and Aberdeen, joining Alfie Boe and Killian Donnelly sharing the role of Jean Valjean, Michael Ball and Bradley Jaden sharing the role of Javert, Bonnie Langford as Madame Thénardier, Gavin Lee as Thénardier, Jac Yarrow as Marius, Beatrice Penny-Touré as Cosette, Channah Hewitt as Fantine, James D. Gish as Enjolras and Jeremy Secomb as Bishop of Digne. See all dates here.
The Arena Spectacular sees Boublil and Schönberg’s epic musical Les Miserables get the full arena treatment in an expanded version of the Les Misérables The Staged Concert. The world tour starts at SSE Arena Belfast on 19 September 2024.
Les Miserables is written by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg, and the Les Miserables The Arena Spectacular is directed by James Powell and Jean-Pierre Van Der Spuy.
Cameron Mackintosh’s original production of Les Miserables, the world’s longest-running and most successful musical, continues to play at the Sondheim Theatre in London.
