A spellbinding mix of horror and heart, Let the Right One In is an unforgettable theatrical experience.
Adapted for the stage by BAFTA and Olivier Award-winning writer Jack Thorne (Netflix’s Adolescence, His Dark Materials, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), this chillingly beautiful production brings John Ajvide Lindqvist’s acclaimed novel and film to life on stage.
A lonely teenage boy. A mysterious new neighbour. A series of brutal murders. This haunting coming-of-age story follows Oskar, a bullied schoolboy who finds solace in an unlikely friendship with Eli, a strange and secretive young girl. But as Oskar gets closer to Eli, he begins to uncover a terrifying truth—one that will change his world forever.
Directed by James Dacre, Let The Right One in features 18 of Britain’s most talented young performers from the National Youth Theatre REP Company.
This is a gripping tale of love, loneliness, and survival.
Lonely at home and bullied at school Oskar only has a Rubik’s Cube and his imagination for company. Then Eli moves in next door. Despite Eli’s odd odour of infected bandages and dead-dog, the teenagers develop a powerful and unusual friendship. But when a butchered body is found in a nearby forest, Oskar slowly unravels the truth about Eli and their strange bond is stretched to breaking point
