Looking for Cyrano de Bergerac starring Adrian Lester? (Noel Coward Theatre, 13 June – 5 September 2026)
Get Cyrano tickets in London
Virginia Gay’s joyous, gender-flipped comedy Cyrano comes to the Park Theatre this Christmas 2024.
A retelling of Cyrano de Bergerac, Cyrano is packed with music, wit and aching romance, and is a love letter to hope, to language and desire, and to the irrepressible magic of theatre.
Following an acclaimed run in Melbourne, Cyrano comes to London, written and performed by award-winning Australian actor and writer Virgina Gay (Colin From Accounts, Winners & Losers).
The cast also incudes Jessica Whitehurst (Ridley, The Comedy of Errors) as Roxanne, and Joseph Evans (Coronation Street) as Yan.
Winner of a FRINGE FIRST AWARD at this year’s Edinburgh Fringe Festival, Cyrano is a big-hearted, irreverent rom-com, perfect for a feel good Christmas treat.
Cyrano is playing at the Park Theatre in London from 11 December 2024 to 11 January 2025.
Cyrano is the most interesting person in any room – a wordsmith, a charmer. She works twice as hard and runs twice as fast as the pretty boys, because she’s deeply ashamed of something about herself. Enter Roxanne: brilliant and beautiful, with a penchant for poetry and a way with words, just like Cyrano. But Roxanne only has eyes for Yan: hot, manly Yan; all brawn-and-no-brains Yan; who is dumbstruck around Roxanne. Probably shy, right? Until suddenly he starts saying the most amazing things. But it’s not Yan writing these perfect love scenes, it’s Cyrano …
