The National Theatre in London has revealed further casting for its forthcoming production of The Other Place.

Alison Oliver (Saltburn, Conversations With Friends) is set to join the cast as Issy, returning to the National following her performance in Dancing at Lughnasa.

Already announced are Lee Braithwaite (Cowbois) as Leni, Emma D’Arcy (House of the Dragon) as Annie, Jeremy Killick (The Confessions) as Terry, Tobias Menzies (Game of Thrones) as Chris, and Nina Sosanya (Love Actually) as Erica.

The Other Place is a new play inspired by Antigone, adapted and directed by Alexander Zeldin (Beyond Caring).

The play centres on two sisters who reunite on the anniversary of the death of their father.

The creative team also includes set and costume design by Rosanna Vize, lighting design by James Farncombe, sound design by Josh Anio Grigg, movement director Marcin Rudy, voice coach Cathleen McCarron, staff director Sammy Glover, and associate lighting design by Bethany Gupwell.

The Other Place is running at the National Theatre’s Lyttelton Theatre from 27 September to 9 November 2024.
