The English language premiere of new musical Marie Curie is coming to the Charing Cross Theatre in London this Summer 2024.
The musical has already premiered in South Korea, where it won multiple awards including the Grand Prize at the Korea Musical Awards, and has also been performed in Japan.
The story of the life and death of Nobel Prize winning scientist Marie Curie will be directed by Sarah Meadows (Ride).
Casting is to be announced.
The show boasts music by Jongyoon Choi, book and lyrics by Seeun Choun, English book adaptation by Tom Ramsay, English lyrics adaptation by Emma Fraser, and literal translation by Ahreumbi Rew.
Joining director Sarah Meadows in the creative team are: Musical Director Emma Fraser, Choreographer Joanna Goodwin, Sound Designer Andrew Johnson, Casting Director Jane Deitch, Production Manager James Anderton, and General Management Aria Entertainment.
The show is produced by Byungwon Kang & LIVE corp.
Marie Curie will play at Charing Cross Theatre from 1 June to 28 July 2024.
