Agatha Christie’s classic whodunnit Murder on the Orient Express comes to the stage in a lavish new production.

Gripping, tense and masterfully cryptic, this brand-new production is a deliciously thrilling ride and an ingenious murder mystery, guaranteed to keep you guessing until the end of the line.

Stage and screen star Michael Maloney (Belfast, Iron Lady, Peer Gynt) plays the famous Belgium detective Hercule Poirot.

Adapted by Tony and Olivier Award winner Ken Ludwig (Crazy For You), Agatha Christie’s much-loved murder mystery classic is directed by Lucy Bailey (Witness for the Prosecution).

Murder on the Orient Express is playing London’s Richmond Theatre from 5 to 9 November 2024, and also touring the UK & Ireland – see dates, below.

Winter 1934 and an avalanche stops the Orient Express dead in its tracks.  An American tycoon lies dead in his compartment, stabbed eight times, his door locked from the inside. Trapped in the snow with a killer still on board, can the world’s most famous detective, Hercule Poirot, crack the case before the train reaches its final destination?
