New Central London fringe venue The Stage Door Theatre has announced casting for its first show, a new production of Stephen Sondheim revue Marry Me a Little.
The cast of Marry Me a Little will feature Shelley Rivers (The Phantom of the Opera, Sunset Boulevard) as ‘Woman’ in the show, alongside Markus Sodergren (Heathers, Beauty and the Beast) as ‘Man’.
The musical revue is conceived and developed by Craig Lucas and Norman René, and will be directed by The Stage Door’s artistic director Robert McWhir (Follies, Into the Woods), alongside a creative team that includes Musical Director Aaron Clingham, Designer David Shields and Lighting Designer Richard Lambert.
The new venue announced in December that Robert McWhir, former artistic director of the Landor Theatre, is the first artistic director of The Stage Door Theatre.
Marry Me a Little is playing at The Stage Door Theatre from 28 February to 13 April 2024.
