2013 UPDATE: STEPHEN FRY HAS NOW CONFIRMED THAT THIS PRODUCTION IS NOT GOING AHEAD

Stephen Fry directs Oscar Wilde’s classic comedy The Importance Of Being Earnest, and stars as the inimitable Lady Bracknell?

Produced by David Pugh and Dafydd Rogers (Calendar Girls, The Full Monty), the theatre, full cast and dates are to be announced shortly, for a 2014 run.

Fashion designer John Galliano will be designing the costumes for Fry’s sumptuous new production, returning to the play after dressing Judi Dench’s Lady Bracknell in the 1982 National Theatre production.
