Christmas TV special Hannah Waddingham: Home for Christmas has announced the celebrity guests joining Hannah this festive season on AppleTV+.
AppleTV+ has also dropped a fabulous new trailer for the show, which airs worldwide on 22 November 2023.
The special was filmed in front of live audience at the London Coliseum a few months ago, and the Emmy-winning Ted Lasso star and West End wonder will ring in the holidays as she welcomes special guests for a musical extravaganza.
Guests will include Luke Evans, currently starring in Backstairs Billy in the West End; Eurovision finalist Sam Ryder (Eurovision); Hamilton star Leslie Odom Jr (Hamilton); Ted Lasso’s Phil Dunster; performers from English National Opera; the London Gay Men’s Chorus; and the Fabulous Lounge Swingers.
More celebrity guests will also be revealed in the coming days.
Audiences around the world will be able to join Hannah Waddingham in celebrating her favourite time of year as she performs festive classics accompanied by a spectacular 18 piece big band.
The live soundtrack of the show will also be out on all music streamers from 22 November 2023, and a single has dropped today – “What Christmas Means To Me”.
The TV special is produced by Done + Dusted, the same team behind Apple’s hit Mariah Carey’s Magical Christmas Special. Executive producers are Waddingham, Katy Mullan, Moira Ross, Raj Kapoor and Nick Todisco. The holiday special is directed by BAFTA Award winner Hamish Hamilton (Oscars, Grammys, Super Bowl halftime show, London Olympics opening and closing ceremonies).
It was also announced last week that Hannah Waddingham is appearing at this year’s Royal Variety Performance, performing with the ENO Chorus.
