Full casting has been revealed for the West End revival of Jersey Boys, which opens at the Trafalgar Theatre this July.
The beloved Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award-winning smash hit musical will be led by Ben Joyce as Frankie Valli, Adam Bailey as Bob Gaudio, Benjamin Yates as Tommy De Vito and Karl James Wilson as Nick Massi.
Boyce is fresh out of drama school and will be making his West End debut, whilst Adam Bailey has appeared in The Book of Mormon and the UK touring production of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert. Benjamin Yates theatre credits include Fiyero in the UK & Ireland tour of Wicked, Mungojerrie in Cats at the London Palladium and most recently Doug/Mr Spencer in The School of Rock at the Gillian Lynne Theatre. Karl James Wilson‘s theatre credits include UK tours of Dirty Dancing, White Christmas and Jersey Boys.
Also in the cast will be Ben Irish (Bob Crewe), Mark Isherwood (Gyp de Carlo), Elliot Allinson (Swing), Koko Basigara (Lorraine), Melanie Bright (Mary Delgado), Jack Campbell (Swing), Carl Douglas (Norm/Hank), Matteo Johnson (Joe Pesci), Huon Mackley (Swing), Jacob McIntosh (Barry Belson), Bonnie Page (Swing), Andy Smith (Swing) and Helen Ternent (Francine).
Jersey Boys tells the true life story of 1960s American boy band Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons. From the streets of New Jersey to the stratospheric heights of international stardom, the world fell in love with their harmonies, whilst back-stage it was anything but harmonious.
The smash-hit juke-box musical returns to the West End following a four-year hiatus in which it played two record-breaking UK and Ireland tours. The fan-favourite features all Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons hits including ‘Sherry,’ ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry,’ ‘Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,’ ‘Oh, What a Night’ and ‘Working My Way Back to You’.
The musical will begin preview performances in the newly refurbished Trafalgar Theatre on 28 July 2021 with an official opening night on 10 August 2021.
