High flying cheerleading musical Bring It On will tour the UK & Ireland in 2022 following a Christmas season at London’s Southbank Centre this December.
Created by Hamilton’s Lin-Manuel Miranda, Pulitzer Prize Tom Kitt, Amanda Green and Jeff Whitty – Tony winning writer of hit musical comedy Avenue Q – the musical comedy is inspired by the 2000 film about competitive cheerleading and over-the-top team rivalries.
Bring It On: The Musical takes audiences on a high-flying, energy-fuelled journey which tackles friendship, jealousy, betrayal and forgiveness – wrapped up in explosive choreography and tricks.
Love Island’s Amber Davies and Olympic medalist Louis Smith will lead the show which begins performances at London’s Southbank Centre on 8 December. Full casting for the London show and tour to be announced.
The tour opens at Wolverhampton Grand Theatre on Wednesday 26 January 2022. It then plays dates in Southampton, Edinburgh, Blackpool, Aberdeen, Manchester, Cheltenham, Nottingham, Birmingham, Dublin, Woking, Sheffield, Cardiff, Sunderland, Glasgow, Bradford and Milton Keynes.
