Faulty Towers – The Dining Experience will reopen in London this December with the production extending its covid safe run until March 2021.
The 2 hour interactive show recreates the iconic BBC sitcom of the same name with a variety of improvised gaffs and laughs as seated diners enjoy a three-course meal. The wildly successful show debuted in Australia in 1997 with the London production heading into it’s 10th year.
The novelty dining experience briefly reopened at the Radisson Edwardian in London in October but was forced to temporarily close due to the second national lockdown.
To enhance safety the company of actors will be rotated on a weekly basis to allow for a two-week quarantine process between performances.
Dan Wood, Jack Baldwin and Dave Tremaine alternate as “Basil”; Kat Mary, Nerine Skinner and Rebecca Norris alternate as “Sybil”; and Simon Grujich, Leigh Kelly and Tony Clegg as “Manuel”.
Safety protocols include temperature checks, room ventilation and socially distanced seating. All cast members wear see-through face masks, to give an extra layer of protection as they interact closely with audience members.
Faulty Towers – The Dining Experience is booking from 10 December 2020 until 28 March 2021 at the Radisson Blu Edwardian. Performances are held Thursday – Sunday.
