Full casting announced for London premiere of ‘Pretty Woman The Musical’

Full casting has been announced for the West End premiere of Pretty Woman: The Musical which begins rehearsals in London today.

Danny Mac (Last Christmas) and Aimie Atkinson (Six), as previously announced, will lead the cast as ‘Edward’ and ‘Vivian’ alongside Rachael Wooding (We Will Rock You) as ‘Kit De Luca’, Bob Harms (Come From Away, Footloose) as ‘Happy Man/Mr Thompson’, Neil McDermott as ‘Philip Stuckey’ and Mark Holden as ‘James Morse’.

The cast also includes Jemma Alexander, Andy Barke, Kimberly Blake, Katie Bradley, Oliver Brenin, Alex Charles, Olly Christopher, Ben Darcy, Daniel De Bourg, Hannah Ducharme, Nicholas Duncan, Paige Fenlon, Damon Gould, Alex Hammond, Antony Hewitt, Matt Jones, Serina Mathew, Katie Monks, Lily Wang, Joanna Woodward, and Charlotte Elisabeth Yorke.

Based on the iconic film starring Julia Robert and Richard Gere, the show is brought to the stage by director Jerry Mitchell (Kinky Boots, Legally Blonde The Musical), with songs by Grammy winner Bryan Adams and a book by Garry Marshall and the film’s screenwriter J.F. Lawton.

The musical tells the story of a high-powered business man and escort who, despite the odds fall in love. 

The highly anticipated show was one of the fastest selling on-sale launches of 2019.

Pretty Woman: The Musical is booking from 14 February 2020 until 2 January 2021 at the Piccadilly Theatre, London.
