No Offence actress Kate O’Flynn will perform a new play by Alistair McDowall at the Royal Court Theatre in February 2020.
all of it is described as ‘a short play for one performer about all of it’ and will run for only 8 performances at the Jerwood Theatre Downstairs and will be directed by Royal Court Artistic Directer, Vicky Featherstone.
O’Flynn’s many stage performances include [Blank] at the Donmar, Jamie Lloyd’s Pinter season One for the Road/Mountain Language/Ashes to Ashes in the West End, A Taste Of Honey (National), Lungs (Paines Plough/Crucible, Sheffield) and The Glass Menagerie in the West End, for which she won the Clarence Derwent Award for Best Female in a Supporting Role.
Alistair McDowall’s previous work include Zero for the Young Dudes! (NT Connections); Pomona (Orange Tree/National/ Royal Exchange, Manchester); Brilliant Adventures (Royal Exchange, Manchester/ Live, Newcastle); Captain Amazing (Live, Newcastle/ Edinburgh Festival Fringe/ UK tour) and X, Talk Show (Open Court).
all of it will run from 7 February 2020 until 15 February 2020 at the Royal Court Theatre, London. It will not have an official press night due to the short run.
