Legendary ballet star Wayne Sleep and Coronation Street actor Kevin Kennedy will star in Cambridge Arts Theatre’s pantomime Cinderella this Christmas.
Sleep and Cambridge’s #1 pantomime dame, Matt Crosby (The Importance of Being Earnest) will play the ‘Ugly Sisters’ with with Corrie’s Kevin ‘Curly Watts’ Kennedy playing Baron Hardup.
The cast will also feature stage and screen actress Liza Goddard (best known as the glamorous jewel thief Philippa Vale in Bergerac) as Fairy Godmother, Charlotte Kennedy (Les Misérables) as Cinderella, Isaac Stanmore (Hetty Feather) as Buttons, Emily Squibb (Young Frankenstein, Birmingham Rep) as Prince Charming and and Nancy Hill (Legally Blonde UK tour, Sweeney Todd UK tour) as Dandini.
Directed by Phil Clark, Cinderella promises to be a festive treat filled with spectacular dance routines, dazzling costumes and classic panto jokes.
Cinderella runs from 28 November 2019 until 11 January 2020 at the Cambridge Arts Theatre.
