Robert Daws will star in a new touring production of Alan Ayckbourn’s comedy ‘Ten Times Table’.

Daws is best known for playing Dr. Gordon Ormerod in The Royal as well as his time in other hit shows such as Poldark, Outside Edge and Roger Roger.

Ayckbourn’s first rate comedy follows the planning and cataclysmic outcome of a local committee as they plan their small town’s first fete to commemorate a rather vague local historical event.

The cast also features Deborah Grant (Not Going Out, Bergerac), Gemma Oaten (Emmerdale, Holby City), Robert Duncan (Drop The Dead Donkey), Mark Curry (Last Of The Summer Wine, Hollyoaks), Craig Gazey (Coronation Street) and Elizabeth Power (EastEnders).

The piece will be directed by Robin Herford with set and costume design by Michale Holt, lighting design by Jason Taylor and sound by Dan Shepard.

Ten Times Table is the inaugural production of The Classic Comedy Theatre Company, produced by Bill Kenwright and his team behind The Agatha Christie, The Classic Thriller and The Classic Screen To Stage theatre companies.

Ten Times Table will open at Theatre Royal Windsor on 8 October 2019 and will then embark on a national tour including dates in Sheffield, Southport, Newcastle, Malvern, Eastbourne, Guildford and Bath.
