Final casting has been announced for Two Ladies at the Bridge Theatre in London.

Lorna Brown, Raghad Chaar and Yoli Fuller will join the previously announced Zoë Wanamaker and Zrinka Cvitešić to complete the casting for the new play by Nancy Harris which is directed by Nicholas Hytner.

Wanamaker and Cvitešić will play the first ladies of France and America in a high-stakes drama where their husbands are at odd over an international crisis.

Zoë was recently on stage as Meg in Harold Pinter’s The Birthday Party (Harold Pinter Theatre) with Croatian born Zrinka last on stage in London playing ‘Girl’ in the UK premiere of Once for which she received the Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical.

Lorna Brown’s numerous stage and screen credits include MedeaBlurred Lines, Damned by Despair at the National Theatre; Chewing GumPressThe Catherine Tate Show and French and Saunders for television; and The Jungle Book, The Lady in the Van, Les Misérables andWorld War Z on film.

Raghad Chaar’s credits include How to Hold your Breath at the Royal Court Theatre and The State for television. 

Yoli Fuller’s theatrical credits include Mosquitoes at the National Theatre and French productions of  The Tragedy of Hamlet, B.A.B.A.R (Le Transparent Noir), Pushup, Les Trois Mousquetaires, Huckleberry Finn and Espejo. 

Set and costume designs are by Anna Fleischle with lighting by Johanna Town, sound by George Dennis and music by Grant Olding.

Two Ladies runs for a strictly limited 6-week season from 14 September 2019 until 26 October 2019 at the Bridge Theatre, London.
