Captain Corelli’s Mandolin sails into the West End for a limited 9-week season at the Harold Pinter Theatre.
Louis de Bernières’ epic novel is dramatically brought to life on stage in a new adaptation by Golden Globe and BAFTA Award nominee Rona Munro.
From the vivid descriptions of the village and its inhabitants, to the brutal life and epic sweep of the soldiers caught up in the constantly changing politics of war, this stunning new production is directed by Olivier and Tony-Award nominee Melly Still (My Brilliant Friend) and features specially commissioned music by Harry Blake.

Captain Corelli’s Mandolin is booking from from 4 July 2019 until 31 August 2019 at the Harold Pinter Theatre, London.
WHAT’S THE STORY?
Cephalonia 1941. Captain Corelli, an enigmatic young Italian officer, is posted to the idyllic Greek island as part of the occupying forces. The Captain is soon thrown together with Dr Iannis’ strong-willed and beautiful daughter Pelagia, who discovers all of the complexities of love, and how it can blossom in the most unexpected and profound way.

The cast features Alex Mugnaioni as Captain Antonio Corelli, Madison Clare as Pelagia, Joseph Long as Dr Iannis, Ryan Donaldson as Carlo, Ashley Gayle as Mandras and Fred Fergus as Francesco.
Completing the cast are Graeme Dalling, Eliot Giuralarocca, Luisa Guerreiro, Kezrena James, Eve Polycarpou, John Sandeman, Stewart Scudamore, Kate Spencer and Elizabeth Mary Williams.
