Meera Syal (Beautiful Thing, Absolutely Anything, The Kumars at No. 42), Lloyd Owen (Cleaning Up, Monarch of the Glen) and Daniel Rigby (Eric & Ernie, One Man, Two Guvnors) will lead the cast of Noises Off at the Lyric Hammersmith.
Requiring technical brilliance and split-second timing, Michael Frayn’s iconic British comedy takes audiences behind the scenes with a company of actors in a hilarious and heartfelt tribute to the unpredictability of life in the theatre.
This new production is directed by Jeremy Herrin (All My Sons, Wolf Hall, This House) with design by Max Jones, lighting by Amy Mae Smith and sound by Lorna Munden.
The cast also features Lois Chimimba (Almeida’s Three Sisters, BBC’s Trust Me), Jonathan Cullen (Merry Wives of Windsor), Debra Gillett (Madness of King George III, Limehouse), Amy Morgan (Travesties, Mr Selfridge), Enyi Okoronkwo (The Cherry Orchard) and Simon Rouse (Hangmen, Local Hero, The Bill).
Herrin’s production will be the first revival of Noises Off at the Lyric Hammersmith since its triumphant premiere in 1982 with a cast including Patricia Routledge, Paul Eddington, and Nicky Henson.
Noises Off will run from 27 June 2019 until 27 July 2019 at the Lyric Hammersmith, London.
