Final casting has been announced for the UK premiere of New York smash-hit Afterglow.

S. Asher Gelman’s “steamy stripped-down look at gay intimacy’ (Huffington Post) will star Jesse Fox (Hard Feelings, Finborough) as Darius, Sean Hart (Coriolanus, Titus Andronicus, RSC) as Josh and Danny Mahoney (White Fang, Park Theatre) as Alex.

Afterglow explores the emotional, intellectual, and physical connections between three men and the broader implications within their relationships. It contains strong language and nudity.

Produced by Adam Roebuck, Aaron Quintana and Justin Coffman, the piece is directed by Tom O’Brien with set & costume design by Libby Todd, lighting design by David Howe, sound design by David Gregory and movement direction by Lee Crowley.

The one-act play premiered at the intimate 69 seat off-broadway Davenport Theater in 2017 where it ran for 14-months, selling 23,0000 seats and grossing over $1million.

Afterglow will play a limited 7-week run from 5 June 2019 until 20 July 2019 at Southwark Playhouse, London.
