Alistair Brammer flies into Wicked

Miss Saigon star Alistair Brammer will join the West End cast of Wicked from 22 July 2019.

Brammer starred as ‘Chris’ in in Cameron Mackintosh’s revival of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Miss Saigon in the West End in 2015 and on Broadway in 2017. His other West End roles include ‘Billy Narracott’ in War Horse and Marius’ in Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables.

Alistair will take over from David Witts who will play his final performances as Fiyero on Saturday 20 July 2019.

Heading into its 14th year, the internationally acclaimed and much loved musical is the 13 longest-running show in the history of the West End. Wicked tickets are booking through May 2020 in London.

Wicked ingeniously re-imagines the Land of Oz, creating a parallel universe to the familiar story written by L. Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’. The musical follows the friendship of two young sorcery students, whose lives take very different paths; one is seduced by power and the other, who remains true to her herself.

The West End cast is currently led by Alice Fearn and Sophie Evans as Elphaba and Glinda respectively.

Wicked is booking until 23 May 2020 at the Apollo Victoria Theatre, London.
