All About Eve / first look at Gillian Anderson & Lily James

Images have been released of the new stage production of All About Eve starring Gillian Anderson and Lily James which is opens at the Noel Coward Theatre later this month.

Ivo van Hove’s stage adaptation of the classic Hollywood film places Gillian Anderson as Margot Channing, acclaimed actress and a true star of the theatre, alongside Lily James as scheming upstart Eve Harington.

The highly anticipated production’s supporting cast includes Monica Dolan (A Very British Sex Scandal, W1A),  Julian Ovenden (Downton Abbey), Sheila Reid (well known for playing Madge on ITV series Benidorm), Rhashan Stone (Killing Eve) and Stanley Townsend (Girl from the North Country Old Vic).

The play is adapted and directed by Ivo van Hove with set and lighting by Jan Versweyveld, costume by An D’Huys music by PJ Harvey and sound by Tom Gibbons.

All About Eve is currently in previews at the Noël Coward Theatre with opening night on 12 February 2019 and a final performance on 11 May 2019. It was recently announced the play will receive a cinema screening in April 2019.
