Coronation Street’s Hayley Tamaddon joins Everybody’s Talking About Jamie

Hayley Tamaddon will join Shane Ritchie and Layton Williams in the new West End cast of Everybody’s Talking About Jamie.

Hayley will step into the role of Miss Hedge, currently played by RuPaul’s Drag Race star and Ireland’s Got Talent judge Michelle Visage, from 28 January 2019.

Tamaddon is best known for her roles in UK soaps Emmerdale, Coronation Street, Channel 4’s Shameless and as the Season 5 winner of ITV’s Dancing on Ice.

The Dancing on Ice winner’s musical theatre roles include Millie in Thoroughly Modern Millie (UK Tour), Roxie Hart in Chicago (UK Tour), The Lady of the Lake in Spamalot (UK tour), Janet in The Rocky Horror Show (UK Tour), Frenchie in Grease (UK Tour), Diana Morales in A Chorus Line (Sheffield Theatres), Trish in Boogie Nights (UK Tour), Carmen in Fame (UK Tour) and Lisa in MAMMA MIA! (West End)

Also joining the lead cast will be Sejal Keshwala Bend It Like Beckham (Phoenix Theatre) as Ray and Sabrina Sandhu If We Were Older (National Theatre) who will play Jamie’s best friend Pritti Pasha.

New cast members also include Marlon G Day (Dad), Momar Diagne, Zahra Jones (Becca), Luke Latchman (Sayid), Rachel Price (Swing), Biancha Szynal (Swing), Adam Taylor (Swing) and Ziggy Tyler Taylor (Levi).

Continuing with the show are current cast members: Alex Anstey (Laika Virgin), Luke Baker (Dean Paxton), Courtney Bowman (Fatimah), Marvyn Charles (Swing), James Gillan (Tray Sophisticay), Ryan Hughes (Mickey), Daniel Jacob (Sandra Bollock), Melissa Jacques, Emily Kenwright (Vicki), Jordan Laviniere (Cy) Rebecca McKinnis (Margaret New), and Harriet Payne (Bex).
