Images have been released of Martin McDonagh’s new play A Very Very Very Dark Matter starring Jim Broadbent.
BAFTA and Academy award-winning actor Jim Broadbent (Iris, Moulin Rouge, Bridget Jones Diary) leads the cast as legendary Danish story-teller Hans Christian Anderson alongside Phil Daniels (This House, Les Miserable) as Charles Dickens, Elizabeth Berrington (Patrick Melrose, Vanity Fair) and newcomer Johnetta Eula’Mae Ackles.
McDonagh’s new play explores the secret inspiration behind Hans Christian Anderson’s stories such as The Little Mermaid, The Snow Queen and The Emperor’s New Clothes.
