The Play That Goes Wrong extends in the West End

Comedy The Play That Goes Wrong has announced a West End extension to mark its fourth birthday at the Duchess Theatre

The surprise hit originally opened at a London fringe venue and has now played to over two million people. It won the Best New Comedy at the 2014 WhatsOnStage Awards, an Olivier Award and most recently a Tony Award on Broadway.

The West End cast currently includes Katie Bernstein, Jason Callender, Edward Judge, Alastair Kirton, Edward Howells, Meg Mortell, Graeme Rooney and Patrick Warner.

Mischief Theatre, the company behind the show, was founded originally in 2009 by graduates from LAMDA. The company’s other pieces include The Comedy About a Bank Robbery, Peter Pan Goes Wrong and Mischief Movie Night.
