Heathers The Musical will transfer to the Theatre Royal Haymarket later this year, following its run at The Other Palace Theatre.
The hilariously dark, yet camp comedy opened at The Other Palace Theatre last month, having previously been staged as a work-in-progress at the theatre’s downstairs space in 2017.
Carrie Hope Fletcher (Les Misérables, The Addams Family) leads the cast as Veronica Sawyer, with Jamie Muscato (Les Misérables, Rock of Ages) playing homicidal love interest Jason Dean, and Jodie Steele, Sophie Isaacs and T’Shan Williams cast as the titular Heathers.
Based on the 1980s cult film starring Winona Ryder and Christian Slater, the musical is about a teenage misfit who is taken under the wings of her schools most popular girls – a trio of Heathers – who end of dead.
The new production has direction from Andy Flickman, choreography by Gary Lloyd, design by David Shields, lighting by Ben Cracknell and sound by Dan Samso.
Heathers The Musical is booking from 3 September 2018 until 24 November 2018 at the Theatre Royal Haymarket, London.
