The much loved musical by James Goldman (book) and Stephen Sondheim (music & lyrics) is about a reunion of the fictional Weismann Follies girls who meet up 30 years after their last Broadway show. The show focuses on complicated friendship of two chorus girls Phyllis & Sally and their husbands Ben and Buddy.
Directed by Dominic Cooke, the hit production was lauded by critics and audiences, receiving 10 Olivier Award nominations but with stff competition from the likes of Hamilton the production only picked up 2 Oliviers: Best Revival of a Musical and Best Costume.
The creative team includes set and costume by Vicki Mortimer, choregraphy by Bill Deamer, lighting by Paule Constable, and sound by Paul Groothius.
Follies in booking from 14 February 2019 until 26 March 2019 at the National Theatre, London.
